When visiting Graff Architects, Jacqui will be the first to greet you. She shares the administration of the office with Linnea Graff, juggling all the many tasks and responsibilities that fall under the operations and logistics side of the business. In addition, both she and Linnea must ensure that communication is clear between the project managers, Grier, and the front desk, in some cases involving some back-and-forth dialogue and occasional "mediation" between the parties. A native of Berkeley, Jacqui has a BA from Mills and is currently working towards a master's degree in business administration. She says, "I'm always taking some kind of class." Jacqui has an uncanny ability to balance work, school and volunteer work. She has made a significant contribution to the community with her volunteer activities, having implemented a local adult literacy program (an offshoot of the Project Second Chance Adult Literacy Program) in Richmond for which she serves on the board and also tutors several hours a week.
